AS I TURN THE PAGES

Huge Vindhya mountains
Thick forests and green shades
Make the minds fresh and alive.
In the early hours of the day
As farmers, handsome guys
With their bullock carts
Come into the field.
While away and around the field
Birds of various colours and breed
Make rhythm on the huge trees
Chirping, forming a tune for their ploughs
Where a stilt house emerges Miles and miles away
Your voice murmurs
Asking for hands and “praise”
Still rings in my mind a reminder of
the words “ live for imperishable happiness.
Darkness covers the mind
as sweet shadows envelop,
your strong hands provide
the support to everything along the way
days and days have gone through
years and years have passed by
places we’ve seen people we’ve met
remain indeleble in my memory
our fight for good and right
foster more strongly through the years
sincerity and clarity opens
new horizons before us
thy kingdom will grow
more, o’er the years.
Poor in mind, mentally challenged
Send before us to help
Where thy “ verbum”
Shows the way and in
“whatever ” done his name
Will be rewarded.

November 25, 2013OUR MOTHER NATURE
I get to see thousands of things
Birds flying and singing happily
And on the flowers I hear the buzz of
bees.
The golden orange that rises within
the hills
And the mountains covered with snow
that shine like a crown of silver
The waves that touch the shore
And take away my footprints
And the rivers that form a dream
delta
Before entering the sea
As I walk on beaches at night,
I feel the cold and sweet smelling
breeze.
The moon over the sea
Shines like a diamond ball.
In every step that I take
My eyes hold wonders
I bend on my knees
To thank our mother earth
For gifting me this wonderful land
To live in forever

Mother Foundress, Visionary and creator of Teresa Spinelli School for Childrens.
The Teresa spinnelli Public School at Pottakuzhi was started in 1994 to realize the dream of our Mother Foundress,i.e "The Christian, the intellectual formation and the integral growth of the young". She is always remembered as the first Religious to start a regular school for the youth, overcoming all discrimination.
In 1827.Teresa with the approval of local Bishop formed a
religious congregation with the school teachers as its initial
members. It was known as Augustinian sisters, Servants of
Jesus and Mary.
Four years later, this new congregation was
formally incorporated into the order of St.Augustine. The
school continued to grow in strength and moral good, supporting and
guiding the youth, especially the girls.
