AS I TURN THE PAGES

Himalaya and Tibetan valleys
Huge Vindhya mountains
Thick forests and green shades
Make the minds fresh and alive.
In the early hours of the day
As farmers, handsome guys
With their bullock carts
Come into the field.
While away and around the field
Birds of various colours and breed
Make rhythm on the huge trees
Chirping, forming a tune for their ploughs
In the midst of the forest
Where a stilt house emerges Miles and miles away
Your voice murmurs
Asking for hands and “praise”
Still rings in my mind a reminder of
the words “ live for imperishable happiness.

Darkness covers the mind

as sweet shadows envelop,
your strong hands provide
the support to everything along the way
days and days have gone through
years and years have passed by
places we’ve seen people we’ve met
remain indeleble in my memory
our fight for good and right
foster more strongly through the years
sincerity and clarity opens

new horizons before us
thy kingdom will grow
more, o’er the years.

Poor in mind, mentally challenged
Send before us to help
Where thy “ verbum”
Shows the way and in
“whatever ” done his name
Will be rewarded.
